State Medical Institute of Tajikistan is a medical center in the city of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It was founded in 1958 and is the largest hospital in the country.

The institute has eight departments, including surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry and neurology. It also has a laboratory for blood transfusion.
The institute offers comprehensive services to patients regardless of their social status or financial situation. The staff includes doctors from different specialties and more than 1,500 nurses who work at 60 wards with more than 500 beds.
In addition to its medical services, State Medical Institute also provides health care education to students from all over the country through its medical school as well as its research institutes.
