Kurgan Region Maternity and Children’s hospital of Tajikistan is the first and only maternity and children’s hospital in Kurgan Region. It was established in 2005. The hospital has a total of 12 beds, including 3 neonatal intensive care units, 2 maternity wards, 2 pediatric wards and 4 emergency beds.

The hospital offers a range of services for mothers, babies, children and adolescents such as prenatal care, delivery service including caesarean section, antenatal care for women who are not pregnant, postnatal care for women after childbirth or abortion as well as immunization of children.

The Republican Teaching Hospital of Tajikistan is a teaching hospital in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It is the largest hospital in the country and one of the most important hospitals in Central Asia.

The hospital has more than 1,600 beds and serves more than 1 million patients each year. It offers a wide range of services including complex surgery, radiology, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology.

The Republican Teaching Hospital of Tajikistan is located on Dushanbe’s main street – Khujand Street – near to other major hospitals such as Dushanbe Municipal Clinical Hospital and Dushanbe City Clinical Hospital. The hospital is accessible by public transportation from anywhere in the city.

7.State Medical Institute:

State Medical Institute of Tajikistan is a medical center in the city of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. It was founded in 1958 and is the largest hospital in the country.

The institute has eight departments, including surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry and neurology. It also has a laboratory for blood transfusion.

The institute offers comprehensive services to patients regardless of their social status or financial situation. The staff includes doctors from different specialties and more than 1,500 nurses who work at 60 wards with more than 500 beds.

In addition to its medical services, State Medical Institute also provides health care education to students from all over the country through its medical school as well as its research institutes.

Kulyab Regional Hospital is the largest hospital in Khatlon region and the capital of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan. It was founded in 1989 with a staff of 70 people.

Kulyab Regional Hospital has 13 departments, 20 medical laboratories and 18 operating theatres. It also has an outpatient clinic that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The hospital currently employs 290 people, with nearly half of them being doctors, nurses and paramedics. The remaining staff members are support personnel such as laboratory technicians, administrative workers, clerks and cleaners.
