Myanmar is considered to be one of the least developed countries in Asia. Its health system is not functioning well and it is struggling with the challenges of being a developing country.

The healthcare system in Myanmar has been improving since the country began its transition from military dictatorship to democracy. However, there are still many challenges that need to be addressed, such as lack of access to healthcare and poor quality of care.

The hospital provides services to all people without discrimination of race, religion, or creed. It also offers general, obstetric, and pediatric services in addition to outpatient care. 8.Bogyoke Aung San Hospital:

Mawlamyine General hospital is a well-known public hospital in Myanmar. It was established in 1959 and was the first modern hospital to be built in the country.

Kyaukpyu General Hospital is a public hospital in the city of Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State, Myanmar. This hospital was established in 1892 and has been serving the people of Kyaukpyu ever since.

The hospital provides free medical care to people living within its catchment area. It has a capacity of 130 beds and offers a wide range of medical services including emergency, general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and health information services.

Rangoon General Hospital is the largest hospital in Myanmar. It was founded in 1883 by Sir George Scott, a British doctor. It is located on the west bank of the Rangoon River, which divides Yangon and Rangoon.

The hospital has an area of 2 hectares with a total floor space of 500,000 square meters. There are over 1,200 beds and more than 2,000 staff members working at this facility. There are 3 emergency rooms as well as 7 special care wards for patients with different needs. The hospital also provides outpatient care for patients who need surgery or other medical treatments outside the facility’s walls.

13.Myitkyina General Hospital:

Myitkyina General Hospital is the first general hospital in Myanmar. It was established in 1922.

Myitkyina General Hospital is located in Myitkyina, a city of Kachin State, Myanmar (Burma). It is about 100 kilometers away from the state capital of Kengtung. It has a total area of about 6 hectares with a built-up area of 1.8 hectares and an overall length of 210 meters and width of 160 meters. The hospital has been renovated to provide modern medical services to patients from different parts of the country.

The hospital has two emergency departments, one for general medicine and one for surgery, as well as 24 beds for maternity care and 18 beds for obstetrics and gynecology care. There are also four wards with 16 beds each that can accommodate patients ranging from newborns to adults who require intensive care or surgery.

The hospital is located on the outskirts of Pyin Oo Lwin, at a distance of around 6 kilometers from downtown. The hospital has an area of over 5 acres and has over 600 beds. The hospital has a staff of 1,600 people and provides patient care to over 100,000 people every year.

The total number of doctors at Pyin Oo Lwin General Hospital is about 250 with 1,000 medical students graduated from local universities and colleges annually. There are also about 300 nurses who provide care for patients in various departments including obstetrics, pediatrics, gynecology and psychiatry.

Pyin Oo Lwin General Hospital also offers services such as outpatient clinics for general medicine and dental treatment as well as diagnostic services such as ultrasound scans and X-rays for minor ailments like high blood pressure or headaches.

18.Thilawa Health Clinic and Teaching Hospital:

Thilawa Health Clinic and Teaching Hospital of Myanmar (Burma) is a medical facility located at the city of Thilawa in Mandalay Division, Myanmar. It has 42 beds, a surgery room, an outpatient department and a pharmacy.

Ayeyarwady University Teaching Hospital is located in the capital of Myanmar, Yangon. The hospital has three hospitals, six clinics, and two nursing homes.
