Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. It borders Russia, Belarus, Poland, and Slovakia to the north; Romania and the Black Sea to the east; Hungary, Moldova, and Romania to the south; and the Sea of Azov and Crimea to the west.
The Ukrainian health system is unique because it was formed from a patchwork of Soviet institutions from different regions of Soviet Union that were all merged into one.
