Liberia is a country in West Africa that has been ravaged by two civil wars and an Ebola virus outbreak. It has a population of 4,000,000 and a GDP of $2.5 billion.

The health system in Liberia is very underdeveloped and it is one of the poorest countries in the world. In Liberia, there are only two hospitals that serve about 3 million people. The Ministry of Health does not have enough funds to provide sufficient health care for the population.

The position of health in Liberia as compared to other countries is very low because it lacks medical professionals who are properly trained and experienced with advanced medical equipment and practices.

Liberia’s health system is ranked 116th out of 190 countries on the World Health Organization’s list.

John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital of Liberia is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Liberia and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. It has a total bed capacity of 600 beds and has been equipped with life support systems, including an intensive care unit (ICU) and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital of Liberia has received many awards, including being awarded as the Best Private Hospital in West Africa in 2016 by Best Hospitals Africa, an annual publication that recognizes excellence in healthcare across Africa.

The Liberia International Hospital is a hospital in the city of Monrovia, Liberia. It was founded in 1806 and is one of the oldest hospitals in Africa.

The location of the hospital is at the intersection of Zorzor Road and Tubman Boulevard, Monrovia. It is about a mile east of Roberts International Airport and about two miles west of Roberts Town.

The hospital has a total bed capacity for 600 patients with an average stay time for patients at less than five days. The hospital also has an emergency room, intensive care units, outpatient clinics, as well as an on-site laboratory and x-ray facilities.

3.Albert Schweitzer International Hospital:

Albert Schweitzer International Hospital of Liberia is a private hospital in Monrovia, Liberia. It is the only international hospital in Liberia. It was founded by Albert Schweitzer, a German doctor and missionary who lived in Africa from 1875 to his death in 1965.

The hospital was established in 1932 and has been providing free care for people of all races, creeds, and nationalities since its founding.

The hospital is located at the corner of 4th Street and 5th Avenue with an entrance on 4th Street and an entrance on 5th Avenue. The main entrance to the hospital is marked by a large statue of Albert Schweitzer holding a globe with Africa on it. The statue faces west towards the Atlantic Ocean so that visitors can see the sun setting into the sea during their visit to the hospital.

It also has a referral service for those who need to be referred out to other facilities because there are not enough beds available at the hospital. 7.Samuel Kanyon Doe Memorial Hospital:

Samuel Kanyon Doe Memorial Hospital is the first and only hospital in Liberia. It was built in 1892 and has been providing medical services to the residents of Monrovia ever since.

Samuel Kanyon Doe Memorial Hospital is located at the heart of Monrovia, near the capital’s business district. The hospital provides a range of medical services such as: general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, otolaryngology (ENT), urology, and anesthesiology. The hospital was originally called “The American Mission” but eventually changed its name to Gorgas Memorial Hospital in honor of Dr. Josiah Gorgas after his death in 1848 .

Gorgas Elizabeth Kenema Government Hospital of Liberia was established in 1951 and is the first and only government hospital in the country. It has a capacity to accommodate up to 400 patients.

The hospital’s main building is about 150 years old and was built as a private residence for the family of an American doctor who had come to Liberia to help establish the country’s first medical school.

Ganta Memorial Hospital is located near the center of Ganta and has two entrances: one on the east side of town and another on the south side of town. It is also accessible from all parts of Ganta via paved roads or dirt paths that lead through densely populated areas. The hospital’s location makes it easy for patients to access its services but difficult for it to receive medical supplies due to its lack of transportation infrastructure.

It also has a number of support facilities including an outpatient clinic, pharmacy and laboratory services as well as radiology services.

It has two floors with an area of 12000 square meters that can accommodate up to 500 beds on each floor.
