The hospital has an emergency room, general surgery ward, intensive care unit (ICU), orthopedic surgery ward, maternity ward, and pediatric ward. There are also administrative offices for the hospital management team and support staff.

The medical equipment at Tawakal Hospital includes X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, CT scanners, MRI scanners, and other diagnostic equipment. Tawakal Hospital provides more than 100 different treatments including general medicine treatments such as injections or IV drips.

3. Al-Mujtaba Hospital, Khartoum, Sudan:

Al-Mujtaba hospital is a Sudanese public hospital that was established in 1945. It is located in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. The hospital has a total area of about 2 hectares and can accommodate up to 250 patients.

The hospital has an emergency department and surgical wards, as well as maternity wards.

The Al-Mujtaba Hospital is the largest public hospital in Khartoum State and it has been serving the people of Khartoum for more than 70 years. It occupies an area of 2 hectares with a capacity to accommodate 250 patients at any time, with 24 hours emergency service and 8 operating rooms for surgery which are open all day long.

4. Yarmouk University Hospital, Khartoum, Sudan:

The Yarmouk University Hospital is located in Khartoum, Sudan. It was established in 1964 by the late President of the Republic of Sudan, Ibrahim Abboud. The hospital is a referral center for all medical specialties and has over 800 beds with a staff of more than 1,000 healthcare providers.

The hospital has a capacity for 70 beds and its main function is to provide psychiatric treatment for people with mental illness.

There are three wards, two rooms where patients can be isolated from other patients, an emergency room, and a pharmacy. The staff at the hospital includes psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other medical professionals who work together to provide care for people with mental health illnesses.

8. Al-Azhar University Hospital (Khartoum):

Al-Azhar University Hospital is a private hospital in Khartoum, Sudan. It was established in 2006 and offers a wide range of medical services to patients.

The hospital is situated on the outskirts of Khartoum and is approximately 15 kilometers from the center of the city, close to the main highway linking Khartoum, Port Sudan, and Kassala. The Al-Azhar University Hospital has a total area of 1 million square meters with 500 beds for patients. The hospital has an intensive care unit with 20 beds and two operating theaters. It also has an emergency department that provides 24 hours service to all patients who need urgent care.

The Al-Azhar University Hospital has modern equipment such as CT scanners, MRI machines, ultrasound machines, X-rays, etc.

9. National Eye Institute of Sudan (Nes):

Nes of Sudan, South is located in Khartoum. It is the first eye hospital in Sudan and it was established by the American Society of Ophthalmology in 1951.

The National Eye Institute of Sudan (Nes) of Sudan, South is a public hospital that was established by the American Society of Ophthalmology in 1951. The institute has many facilities that include an ophthalmic laboratory, an ophthalmic operating room, two wards for post-operative care, and two wards for outpatient care.

The institute serves as a teaching center for ophthalmology residents who are required to complete their training at Nes before they can be licensed to practice medicine independently. It also provides free eye surgery and treatment to needy patients from all over Sudan.

10. Al-Shifa Teaching Hospital:

Al-Shifa Teaching Hospital of Sudan is located in the South of Sudan. It is about 8 km from the center of Juba and about 2 km from the airport.

The hospital has a total number of beds which are 300, all are in various wards, but there is no intensive care unit. The hospital also has a pharmacy and an outpatient department that treats patients without staying overnight. The hospital covers all medical specialties and it has a maternity unit as well.

The hospital was established on 1st November 1945 by the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS). It was called “The Red Crescent Hospital” with 20 beds at that time. In 1956, it was renamed to Al-Shifa Teaching Hospital of Sudan with an increase in bed numbers to 100 beds.

11. Sudanese Armed Forces General Hospital:

The Sudanese Armed Forces General Hospital is located at the center of Khartoum and is a public hospital. The hospital has 130 beds, with four wards, an emergency room, and an outpatient clinic.

The Sudanese Armed Forces General Hospital was established in 1985 as a military hospital for the Sudanese Armed Forces. It was later opened to the public in 1999 and became a public hospital in 2002.

There are four wards in this hospital: the general ward, surgical ward, pediatric ward, and gynecology ward. There is also an outpatient clinic that provides services such as blood tests, X-rays, ultrasounds, and other lab tests.

12. University of Medical Sciences and Technology:

The University of Medical Sciences and Technology of Sudan, South is a public university located in Khartoum, Sudan.

The university was founded in 1977 with the help of UNESCO and the Government of Sudan. The University has been accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research since 1978. It is one of the oldest universities in Sudan.

Al-Jumhuriya Hospital has a total of 5 buildings and 8 departments. The hospital is divided into two main parts: one for male patients and one for female patients.

The hospital has an emergency room, an intensive care unit, a maternity ward, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and so on.

The facilities of Al-Jumhuriya Hospital include operating theaters with 4 beds each; wards with 16 beds each; wards with 10 beds each; wards with 4 beds each; outpatient clinics; a dental clinic; eye clinic; x-ray department and so on.
