1.National Hospital of Conakry:

The National Hospital of Conakry in Guinea is a medical facility that provides a range of services to the people in the area. It has an address, location and facilities that are worth mentioning.

The National Hospital of Conakry is located at Avenue de la République, near the Presidential Palace. The hospital has a total of five floors and it houses around 500 beds with over 1000 employees.

The hospital offers services like general surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics and traumatology, cardiology and vascular surgery. The hospital also houses an emergency unit with trauma care facilities as well as an intensive care unit for patients with more severe conditions.

2.Donka Hospital

The Donka Hospital is located in the capital city of Guinea, Conakry. It has a capacity of 300 beds and is the only hospital in the country that provides general medical and surgical care.

The hospital was established in 1956 by Dr. Albert Schweitzer as a small medical clinic, but it has since grown to become one of Africa’s largest hospitals with over 300 beds. The hospital is also equipped with a blood bank, an intensive care unit, a dialysis center, an operating theater and modern laboratories.

A new wing was completed in 1987 which includes wards for 40 patients each with its own bathroom facilities and private rooms for mothers who give birth there.

3.Kindia Regional Hospital:

This section will be about Kindia Regional Hospital in Guinea. It is a public hospital that was opened on November 3, 1960. It has a total of 5 floors with one being the ground floor and 4 above it. The hospital has a capacity of 500 beds and is located in the city of Kindia, Guinea.

The first floor of the hospital has an out-patient department for general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology as well as an emergency room with 10 beds. The second floor consists of a laboratory for blood tests, X-rays and other medical tests as well as rooms for physiotherapy and hydrotherapy treatments. The third floor houses wards A to D with each having 30 beds which are mainly used for general surgery cases.

The fourth floor houses wards E to H which have 60 beds each and are mainly used for internal medicine cases while the fifth floor houses wards I to K which have 60 beds each but are not specialized in

The Mamou Regional Hospital is located in the town of Mamou, Guinea. The hospital is a public facility and it provides a range of medical services.

The hospital was established in 1956 and it has since grown to become one of the largest hospitals in Guinea.

The hospital has an extensive list of departments with a wide range of services: general medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology, psychiatry and psychology. It also has a laboratory for blood tests and X-rays.

Kindia General Hospital has an emergency room that can accommodate up to 50 patients at any given time. The emergency room handles cases such as accidents, trauma injuries, childbirth complications, severe illness or injury requiring surgery or referral to other hospitals for specialized care outside the country’s borders such as malaria treatment or Ebola

7.Faranah General Hospital:

The Faranah General Hospital is a public hospital in Guinea. It is located in the Faranah commune and it is one of the most important medical facilities in the country.

Faranah General Hospital has two buildings which were built to provide medical care for patients. The first building, which was built in 1957, has a capacity of 100 beds and provides general services to all patients. The second building, which was completed in 2000, has a capacity of 300 beds and provides specialized services for pregnant women, children under five years old and people with HIV/AIDS.

The hospital also offers laboratory services for diagnosis and treatment as well as rehabilitation services for disabled people. The hospital’s staff includes doctors, nurses, technicians and administrative staff who work together to provide medical care to their patients.

8.N’Zerekore General Hospital:

N’Zerekore General Hospital is situated in the town of N’Zerekore, Guinea. The hospital has a total of 8 wards, which are all located on the same level with no elevators. The wards are divided into two sections: one for women and one for men.

There are also two operating theaters at the Fria Hospital, one of which can be used as an emergency room when necessary.

The Hôpital Universitaire de Kindia is located in Guinea and has a variety of facilities. It has a general hospital, a maternity ward, an emergency room, a pediatric ward, and an outpatient clinic.

Hôpital Universitaire de Kindia also has laboratories for blood tests, x-rays and CT scans. There is also a pharmacy for prescription drugs. There are two operating theaters with modern equipment for surgery and other procedures.

16.Hôpital Général de Siguiri:

The Hôpital Général de Siguiri is a hospital located in Guinea. The hospital has three departments, including the emergency department, surgery and the maternity ward. The hospital also has a laboratory for blood tests, an X-ray room and a pharmacy.

The emergency department can accommodate up to 20 people at any given time and is equipped with an ambulance that can transport patients to other health centres if necessary. There are two operating rooms in the surgery department, which can accommodate up to 15 people at any given time. The maternity ward has capacity for 50 mothers at any given time and is equipped with incubators for newborns as well as a neonatal intensive care unit for infants who need additional care during their first weeks of life.

The Hôpital Nationale d’Eyla (HNE) is the largest hospital in Guinea. It is located in the capital city of Conakry. HNE was founded in 1956 and became a national hospital in 1966. The hospital has more than 500 beds, but only 200 are operational.

During the Ebola crisis, HNE was one of the few hospitals that continued to provide health care to patients. The hospital has two operating rooms and four labor rooms, as well as a maternity ward with eight delivery rooms and an emergency room with 12 beds.

The hospital is also home to one of the only blood banks in Guinea, which provides blood for transfusions for patients who can’t afford it or who need rare blood types not found on the market.

The government took ownership of HNE from a private company in 2008, but it still relies heavily on private funding to keep running.

18.Hôpital National d’Oyem:

Hôpital National d’Oyem is the largest hospital in Guinea and is located in the capital city of Conakry. The hospital has a total of 624 beds and serves as the referral center for medical care for the entire country.

The hospital was built by L’Association Guinéenne de la Croix-Rouge and opened its doors to patients in 1977. It is named after Dr. Jacques Félix Oyem, who was a Guinean doctor who helped found the Red Cross in Guinea, and was awarded with France’s Legion of Honour for his service to humanity during World War II.

The hospital is equipped with an ambulance service, emergency room, radiology unit, maternity ward, pharmacy, operating room and intensive care unit (ICU). It also offers HIV/AIDS testing services as well as general medicine consultations. The facility also has a blood bank which collects blood from donors and transfuses

The Hôpital Général du Koubia (HGK) is a hospital in Guinea. It has been providing medical care to the people of Guinea since 1957. They have a total of 300 beds and they provide care for both adults and children. The hospital also has an emergency department, an intensive care unit, a maternity ward, and a surgical unit.

The hospital is located in the city of Koubia in Guinea. It is located on the Avenue de l’hôpital which is close to the center of town. For those who are coming from other parts of town, it’s possible to take public transportation or drive there by car or motorcycle. There are signs that will help guide visitors to HGK along with maps that can be found online as well as onsite at the facility itself.

HGK does not have any parking spaces for visitors so it’s advised that those who want to visit come by public transportation .

20.Hôpital Général du Dixinn (HGD):

The hospital is in the capital city of Guinea, Conakry. It was founded in 1887 by the French colonizers. The hospital has a capacity of 400 beds and it is one of the biggest hospitals in Guinea.

When you arrive to Hôpital Général du Dixinn (HGD) in Guinea, you will notice that it is located near an intersection and there are a lot of people around. There are also many other buildings nearby, such as schools and churches.

The hospital has a wide variety of facilities that are available for patients to use. They have an emergency room, operating rooms, wards with different levels of care, laboratories, a pharmacy and more!
